I’m Rob Kennedy, an energetic broadcaster and hockey author based in Central Maine who calls several sports but prefers to specialize in college hockey. I am currently the broadcaster for Dartmouth College’s mens hockey team, and am not actively seeking new positions at this time. However, I will continue to maintain and update this site for future possibilities.
In have compiled an exceptional body of work in 15 years of sports play-by-play experience. Since 2004, I’ve been in high demand for television, radio and internet sports broadcasts all across Northern New England. I have called over 400 Major Junior (QMJHL) and NCAA hockey contests and have been awarded numerous accolades by the Maine Association of Broadcasters.
In Maine, I also work with several local radio and TV stations as well as streaming entities to broadcast high school sports. I also have over a decade of experience as a personality for commercial radio in both the active rock and classic hits format.
I also co-authored A Little Knock Won’t Hurt Ya: My Life as a Hockey Enforcer with former Quebec Nordique Allan Globensky and writer Terry Scott, released in January, 2019.
Samples of my hockey work, my resume and contact information are available at the links above. Other work is available upon request.
